At a time when entire species of animals in nature are being eliminated as a result of Human pressure, the number of animals in Human-created confinement systems--laboratories, factory farms, zoos, etc.--continues to grow. The use of biotechnology to propagate nonhuman animals for Humans to use however they wish, does not bode well and can only be exacerbated by the continued growth of Human population. How can the animal rights movement ever hope to "manage" such an enormous number of individuals with a seemingly limitless capacity to materialize and rationalize its desires?

Veal calf is one of many industries along with eggs, broilers , pigs, and milk, which are squeezing the animals to theirs edge.
The Human Race torture calves to satisfy their sickening lifestyle. No matter what you do, nothing will make those Humans to stop. All kind of demonstrations, posters, banners, or even the most shocking evidence picture, did not and will not help. Humans will never stop exploit nonhuman animals “just” because it is immoral and it causes them pain and suffer.
The normative way had proven wrong. There is only one way, to end those miserable calves from suffering.

Within moments of birth, male calves born on dairies are taken away from their mothers and loaded onto trucks.
The fragile animal is being electrically shocked, kicked and punched all over his small delicate body. Moreover, when he can no longer walk, he is dragged by his legs or even his ears. The screaming is heartbreaking. Hearing the cow mother in panic, calling for her abducted little calf, who is also calling desperately for his mum.
Even if we try as hard as we can, we will never be able to understand what the calf is going through, what he feels, what is he thinking of, what is going on his innocent mind in a moment like this. He was born just few hours ago and already his life is a living hell. And all for what? For human pleasure.

Veal is a by-product of the dairy industry. They are "manufactured" by "milk machines" – dairy cows. In order for dairy cows to produce milk, like every mammals, they must be impregnated and give birth. The dairy cows are artificially inseminated. There is no other way to describe this action but RAPE. The farmer, by dint of forcibly, gets the cow in pregnant. the stressed cow will have to get use to this kind of violence, it will happen every year. Yes, it seems crazy but yet it happens every year. The dairy cows are forced to have a calf, and every year the cows and their calves are going through life full of violent and pain, every each and one of them is going through his own private hell.

Half of the born calves are females, and they are used to replace older cows in the milking herd, who the farmer can no longer steal from her, as much milk as he wants. The milk is supposed to be for her calf, but the humans are taking it by force. The other half are males. Because they are of no use to the dairy industry, some calves are killed at just a few days old to be sold as low grade 'bob' veal for products like frozen TV dinners! The rest are used for veal.

In the wild, a one-day-old calf stays close to its mother 75% of the time. In the first week of life, the calf is alone only 10% of the time.
The calf's main social contact is with his mother. Later in the 5-month period, the calf spends most of his time around other calves while maintaining contact with his mother.
A calf will stay with his mother for up to three years, but in the farm the calves’ lives are much different.
The calf, after taking away from his mother, is sold at one of many livestock markets. He will be sold to the highest bidder before being loaded onto the lorry.

The terrors of transport are many. From farm, to market, to ferry takes a lot of handling and the calf is suddenly confronted by hundreds of human faces and fumbling hands - loading him, goading him and shouting him onto the transport. This is extremely distressing for this fragile animal, but it is only the beginning of the hardship he will endure.

The calf will be kept in a crate, which is a wooden restraining device with slatted floor to allow urine and feces to fall through. Not enough that it is so small (55cm x 135cm) he s also chained by the neck to restrict all movement, making it is impossible for him to turn around, stretch, or find even one comfortable position to stand in his tiny cell. The very small crate prevents him from grooming himself, a very important natural act that keeps the calf clean and hygienic.

The miserable young calf will be spending for 16 weeks, or so, before being taken to be murdered, standing up or attempting to lie down on a slatted wooden floor. Once again, the sickness of humans revealed.

Try to think about 16 weeks of standing with no ability to move or lie down. Neither one of us can describe the feeling of this torture. Human beings have to make terrible crimes to deserve these conditions in such solitary; however, the calves did nothing wrong. The only crime they made is to be born.

The calf will be fed once or twice a day with an all-liquid milk substitute, which is purposely deficient in iron and fiber; it is intended to turn the calf to an anemic animal with pale-colored flesh. The calf suffers from severe undernourishment and chronic diarrhea. Do you remember what the farmer did with the milk, which belongs by nature, to this calf?

Once or twice a day, a worker fills the calf's bucket with the milk-like substitute and the calf is getting excited from a brief change in his boring life. As the front of the crate is lifted to allow the animal to drink from the bucket, the calf will get a brief glimpse of his fellow animals in their respective crates. At this moment the calf is in a very confusing situation. Though naturally calves are social animals, they have no contact with their mums (being abducted from them at birth) or other calves; this social isolation has a horrible influence on the animal's development, physical and mental health.

In the feeding time he is frustrated. What shall he do? Lick his fellow calf from the crate next to him, or shall he eat from the bucket, since the calves are fed less than an adequate diet?

What would you choose? A momentary soft touch or another dram from a thin, warm gruel? More than once the calf chooses his fellow calf.

This insane experience causes the calf to exhibit abnormal coping behaviors associated with frustration. This includes head tossing, head shaking, kicking, scratching, and stereotypical chewing behavior. If you ever seen a veal calf you would understand how frightening and creepy this sight can be, and at the same time makes you feel so helpless and shameful to be a part of the Humankind.

When slaughter approaches, he can be so weak from malnutrition that he is unable to walk unaided to the slaughterhouse lorry. And again the calf is yelled, kicked and dragged. If the calf survives the journey to the slaughterhouse, which can often mean long, crowded truck rides in roasting hot or sub-freezing weather, he faces workers who are totally indifferent to his pain capability and to his fear.

In the slaughterhouse, he is frightened and panic. He seeks with his eyes for a friendly creature, but the workers surrounding him. He realized already that Humans are not the address for compassion.
He pushed and kicked by the workers in order to get him inside. The calf remains standing and turning his head backwards and looking at the workers, failed to understand why they doing it to him.
Inside, the calf hears his fellow calves screaming screams of horror, and he smells the smell of blood. He flinches back but the beatings are getting stronger.

Due to physiological differences, calves can take longer than adult cattle to bleed to death, so accepted procedures in slaughterhouses may result in especial suffering for these young animals. They get through a brutal death and being skinned and dismembered while conscious.

More than 1,000,000 calves are going through this horrible life Calves natural lifetime is about 20 years; they eat grass and drink cows' milk. They spent most of their time at grassy fields by feeding, sleeping and ruminating.
However, in veal farms, calves live for only several months. During their brief lives, they never see the sun or touch the Earth. They never see or taste the grass. Their anemic bodies crave proper sustenance. Their muscles ache for freedom and exercise.
The calves have committed no crime, this is heinous torture inflicted on an innocent baby
